April 3, 2025 – We are excited to announce the release of two highly anticipated EPs from Lines of Flight. 'Becoming Bear' will be available on April 14, 2023, followed by 'More Than Human' on May 5, 2023.
'More Than Human' is an EP of change, progress, and development, caught between the past and the future. In stark contrast to the reflective emotions of 'Signs of Life,' which were triggered by lockdown, 'More Than Human' begins the process of looking forward. It confronts what lies ahead, exploring themes of human interaction, our treatment of animals, and the impact on our planet.
Lines of Flight delve into the complexities of loneliness, self-sabotage, isolation, paranoia, and fear. They observe the natural world enduring long after humans are gone, the fading of the pandemic, and the return to 'normal.' Despite the changes, they recognize that much remains the same. We are creatures of habit and comfort, resistant to change unless necessary or until it's too late.
'Becoming Bear' will be available across all streaming platforms and for download on Bandcamp.
